Benson and Spence went on their very first campout on August 27th with the ward! And yes...it rained. Benson talked about it all week long, telling me over and over that he and Dddy were going camping in the mountains in a tent, emphasizing the fact that Addie and I were NOT coming. It was a downpour when they arrived but stopped a bit later and they had a ball. Mitchell and Bens had so much fun jumping in the rain...good thing I overpacked and he had a change of clothes! The iPad did come in handy before bed, as Benson watched Finding Nemo for a bit :) To Spen's dismay, Benson wouldn't fall asleep in his own sleeping bag, so he crawled into Spen's and slept directly on top of him, finally falling asleep enough for Spence to move him to his own bag. Here's to many more fun campouts...maybe even me and Addie could come!
